Auxilium

Auxilium is a non-profit association founded to improve educational, social and cultural standards and developments in the European region South-East (South-Austria, West-Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia and North-East-Italy) by intensive co-operation with other EU regions. Therefore, Auxilium is highly active in the development and implementation of educational/vocational trainings as well as in the implementation and promotion of EU projects dealing with education, culture and society.

Auxilium is embedded in a local and regional network of policy makers (regional government of Styria, municipality of Graz, local governments), social partners (Austrian Trade Union, Chamber of Labour, Chamber of Commerce) and training organisations, where Auxilium provides corporate training in the field of promotion of the EU, introduction to EU programmes and to EU project management as well as intercultural issues. The local, regional and national networks of Auxilium together with the rich experience of the staff being responsible for the tasks and management of the AESAES project, gives the right background for the implementation of a successful European co-operation project.

All staff has pedagogical education as well as research background on university level and it has experience from more than 100 accomplished European co-operations; Auxilium is also a close co-operation partner to the Austrian NA for the LLP for presentations and external evaluation.

Training and information concerning European Citizenship belongs to the core activities of the organisation; from 2006-08 Auxilium already promoted the Grundtvig projects Europe at Work (230338-CP-1-2006-AT-GRUNDTVIG-G1PP), which was aiming to promote Active European Citizenship in companies.
